Albania. A great country. While it may be the poorest country in Europe it is still a good country. For example, unlike many other European countries, Albania has yet to be known to jam any shortwave stations. Though according to some sources this is because of a lack of funding instead of a lack of want.An interesting fact is that some of Albania's practices seem to invite the tourism that the US movie busness denies it. For example, according to Albanian.net it costs more to leave the country then to enter it. On the topic of the US movie industry, we here at Radio Tirana Web believe Albania has a major case against the US movie industry for aggravated libel and negligence in researching before production. The reason for the libel charge is that US movie companies have been poking fun at libelously insulting Albania for ages. One such example is "Wag the Dog" a film where the president chooses Albania as a target for US attack. This not only libelously paints Albania in a bad light, but it also hurts Albania's tourist trade and causes it to lose respect in the US.
Albania has an unemployment rate of 18%. Their main exported commodities are asphalt, metals and metallic ores, electricity, crude oil, vegetables, fruits, and tobacco. Their external debt is about $920000, virtually nothing when compared to the US's.
